So I've been mulling over a few observations:

- There's a prevailing view that ChatGPT isn't quite cut out for coding, with a tendency to err more than assist. This is what I hear people say online.

- But, in my experience, it's been surprisingly helpful in exploring new tech areas and programming languages.

- Plus, there's the intriguing case of Terrence Tao, who uses it for collaboration in mathematical proofs and for learning Lean.

This got me thinking. We often see folks on Reddit grappling with learning challenging programming languages. Yet, we may be underestimating the potential of LLMs like ChatGPT in learning and navigating through the complex parts of learning new languages and technologies.

I shared this post on /r/programming and people did not seem to like it so far. Maybe I should have called it: "LLMs make Programming Language Learning Curves Shallower" or something.

I found this essay to be quite impressive.

I can personally relate to the impact of utilizing LLMs in order to overcome the Intermediate Material Problem discussed in the essay. Whenever I inquire LLMs about my current situation, I often discover the key concepts I may be missing. Admittedly, the quality of the responses depend upon the quality of the prompts provided, but this holds true for any other platform that one may use for seeking answers to their questions.
