So I've been mulling over a few observations:

- There's a prevailing view that ChatGPT isn't quite cut out for coding, with a tendency to err more than assist. This is what I hear people say online.

- But, in my experience, it's been surprisingly helpful in exploring new tech areas and programming languages.

- Plus, there's the intriguing case of Terrence Tao, who uses it for collaboration in mathematical proofs and for learning Lean.

This got me thinking. We often see folks on Reddit grappling with learning challenging programming languages. Yet, we may be underestimating the potential of LLMs like ChatGPT in learning and navigating through the complex parts of learning new languages and technologies.

I shared this post on /r/programming and people did not seem to like it so far. Maybe I should have called it: "LLMs make Programming Language Learning Curves Shallower" or something.
