I submitted one of the early $100 Cybertruck deposits, but at this point there's no way I'm following through on it. If Musk goes off his meds and comes out as a full-fledged Nazi or something similar, or even gives the appearance of doing so, then my investment will be largely hosed. And my conscience won't be doing so great, either.
The moral risk isn't worth it; there are (and will be) other EVs in the same class.
Having read his recent - very good - biography, I have decidedly mixed feelings about the man.
On the one hand, he's so right about many things in life. Most restrictions and limitations are just bullshit that you can ignore. If you want change, you've got to simply do it.
But on the other hand, he thinks we're in a simulation and the other people aren't real.
