Exactly. It's not clear what's going on from the tweet or article.

I think it's an interesting question. How much do you weaken the opposition from limiting the internet to periods.

You can't stop chunks of information. Video still comes in and out. But you do stop the flow.

For instance the West is less interested in day old protest footage, than 'Breaking'.

I would guess that you never weaken the core opposition, but sympathetic other folks working in the day... you might limit their exposure to the core folks.
