I've been crafting on the web since 2001, and it all started with a JavaScript program to help me cheat on math homework--fifth grade math is tough! Even though I have spent twenty years self-learning and developing on the web, in 2016 I joined a coding bootcamp primarily to network with and learn how to collaborate with a team of engineers.
For the past couple years, I've been working remotely at a B2B SaaS startup, and before that I was leading a successful team of developers at a boutique marketing agency in the Twin Cities. I also run a successful side project: you might know me as @killedbygoogle on Twitter and have seen the Google Graveyard I started, killedbygoogle.com .
As an individual contributor, I'm a skilled front end engineer with a knack for building usable interfaces that make the experience of using technology a joy. In my next role, I'd like to find a great team where I can focus on JavaScript development, specifically in React or Node, but I'm open to working in the technologies I've listed.
Full Stack Software Engineer with 2+ years working mainly in startups.
Experience building regular MVC websites, SPAs, REST APIs, web scrapers.
Looking for work in SaaS, space, fintech, e-commerce/retail or marketing but open to any other area except crypto. I also enjoy doing work involving 3D or graphical stuff. I also have a background in Electrical Engineering so I'm fine with anything involving strong math, physics or electronics.
Sophomore at Yale University ('23 B.S. CS/Math) seeking summer internships in SWE, AI engineering, or quant/prop trading.
Why me?:
1. If you want me to learn a stack/technology, I'm willing to do so on my own time during this coming spring semester.
2. 2019 Putnam top 500 (premier undergraduate proof-based mathematics competition. This represents roughly top 10% of comptitors nationwide)
3. I'm young and hungry.
Looking for an internship/summer job/fellowship/whatever you want to call it! I have sizable development experience (at least relative to my age), so I may be able to really contribute to your team. [0]
Location: Stanford, CA / New York, NY (depending on pandemic situation...)
Remote: yes
Willing to relocate: yes
Technologies: Python, Rust, JS/web stack, C, some Haskell, some Lisp, containerization and Kubernetes, general UX work, Linux/public clouds, some cryptography and networking. Some experience with Elixir and Erlang/OTP.
Location: Houston, TX
Remote: No problem
Willing to relocate: Yes, especially to cooler climates
Technologies:
Mathematica, Python, .NET (C# F# WPF EF6 Powershell), SQL, tcl, git, amateur exposure to system administration on both windows (set up an academic lab) and linux (set up a home lab). I have plenty of experience using a variety of statistical/modeling/optimization tools.
Résumé/CV:
Available on request. Quick summary: Currently employed as an economist; I have authored a textbook on mathematical modeling of some specialized chemical separations processes and worked on real-time/online optimization of industrial processes. I like solving interesting problems using computers, especially in the mathematical modeling and optimization space.
About: Full stack for almost 1 year. Even though I've been primarily a Java person in the past, I'm very much looking to try out different technologies while working in different parts of the stack! Interested in junior positions and intern positions, as long as they offer me to show my tech knowledge and growth).
I'm super responsive. Fluent in English, Greek and Swedish
I've been a developer for 12 years, most recently at Twitter, including a stint managing. I'm a strong generalist - I've done everything from run servers to write iOS apps, and generally wear many hats. I'm looking for remote-friendly programming roles at companies in the biotech & synthetic biology space.
A few reasons! First, the field is absolutely fascinating - the complexity is incredible, and I'm really enjoying learning about it. It's also clearly "What's Next" - the synbio space in particular has a real "early computers/early internet" feel, in that the capabilities are becoming apparent, but the tooling & infrastructure's not quite there - it feels like it's about to take off in a big way, and that's exciting. On a broader level, I think climate change is an existential risk, and the biotech/synbio toolkit is the best bet I can see for how we both mitigate and repair the damage and shift our energy consumption patterns, so I want to be part of building it.
Go Slugs! The UCSC campus is still the most beautiful place I've ever lived. I'm sad I wasn't more of an outdoorsy person while I was there - it was just an incredible place.

Early career web/software developer looking for a long-term position that supports learning and growth. Motivated to improve products and investigate bugs.
Worked on a data processing desktop app professionally, and interested in web development. Experienced with building full-stack applications in JavaScript and C#.
I'm looking for a Devops or SRE type role. I have a very diverse background in all areas of creating, building, deploying and running highly available applications. You can find a simple demonstration of some of my skill sets in my cloud resume on GitHub: https://github.com/soccerties/cloud-resume
I am a full-stack web developer with over six years of experience delivering software. I have worked for clients all around the world in many different industries. I have delivered solutions for solo founders, startups, digital agencies and big companies, such as Apple. I have background in computer science and am able to create everything from small business websites to custom web applications.
Software developer with 2.5 years of industrial experience and over 8 years of programming experience with bachelors and masters in Software Engineering. Looking to join impact driven company solving hard problems. Seeking full time frontend/backend/full-stack/devops roles.
I would prefer a programming position in the games industry, but am open to other Software Engineering opportunities. Having worked in a government agency as a consultant for the past 4 years, I'm ready to escape the "Corporate" environment. I'm looking for something with more flexible hours than 8-5 and a looser dress code than "Business Casual." I'm very good at reading, understanding, and improving existing code, with great attention to detail, readability, and maintainability
decades of programming. solid computing system fundamentals. problem solving. brainstorming. prototyping. communication. technical team lead. software architect. SRE-ish. author of cheatsheet on Software Performance & Scalability. tech research, due diligence and consulting for US State Department. indie game engine creator since childhood. wrote & shipped a zombie apocalypse simulation a decade ago -- which was much more fun than coronavirus. in free time lately designing a sim to teach about democracy collapse risks, and FOSS contrib to Tailscale
Are you building a complicated technical product that is difficult to explain to customers?
Are you reaching the stage where it’s becoming necessary to think more strategically about market and positioning?
Do you want to catch the attention of your industry and build an iconic and reputable brand?
Maybe I can help.
I’m a former programmer, VC analyst and startup founder with an CS degree who now advises startups on product marketing. I combine technical and market expertise with skill in writing and social media. I can help figure out the essentials of what your product is doing and for whom, and figure out how best to get that message out there.
I specialize in:
- startups expanding, and needing to redefine who they are
- developer marketing and finding influential power-users
- writing stand-out copy that succinctly expresses a technical idea
- startups just discovering p/m fit and wanting to quickly respond to it
Often I can help solve your problem with less than 2 weeks of consulting and research. I can make a content plan or guidelines or work with an existing team.
Short Bio: I'm a software engineer based in West Palm Beach, FL. I'm the co-creator of Campion, https://campion-breaker.github.io, an edge-based serverless middleware for implementing circuit-breaking functionality for distributed services. Previously, I founded BooklyBox, which was successfully acquired by Quarterly, https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/12/pagehabit/.
Position: DATA SCIENTIST / DATA ANALYST / DATA ENGINEER
Intro:
I am a data scientist working in analytics. I have over 5 years of experience with Python (3 years commercially). I graduated from New York University, I am affiliated with Columbia University. I worked in data science for several businesses and academics as a freelancer. I worked at a data-driven start-up where I was leading a team. I would be happy to work in any scope that involves data or Python. I do not mind tech skill checks or interviews (here is an example of how I performed: https://triplebyte.com/tb/jakub-boros-kvywipe/certificate/tr...). I am also open to opportunities that involve learning skills I do not possess yet (e.g. Scala, Julia).
Senior full-stack dev (lean more towards devops->backend than backend->frontend, but I can still sling some React components together and reduce your JS payload size. Lately I've been loving Stimulus Reflex, but now we have Hotwire too?!?!)
I excel at figuring out how to solve problems at all levels of abstraction (including what level of abstraction you should use), getting a solution in place, and then figuring out the feedback loops to iterate on that solution. I'm the senior engineer that knows that most coding is coming to an understanding of what problem you are trying to solve. Sometimes the most impactful code is the code you don't write.
Trying to change the world, still parsing the source code. I've been programming on the web since 1995, had a first career as a social worker and policy statistician, and have worked full-time as a programmer for almost a decade now.
Especially enjoy API design, integrating with crappy systems, and really weird bugs
Will give you more looks if you can tell me why what you are doing makes the world better, not just makes you richer, but you've got to really believe it in your heart.
Software engineer with 8+ years of experience both in backend and frontend development. I can easily adapt to any stack and would enjoy being able to learn some more modern ones if given the opportunity.

I’ve been doing software engineering for about 8 years. I love learning anything that’s related to software engineering. I’m learning Haskell and Rust at the moment to expand the way I program and think. I’ve been working with dating services, webtoon services, chat apps, content search engines, and high frequency trading. Most of my skills are used for backend and DevOps related work.
Hope to find a place where the engineers are enthusiastic about engineering and love to talk with users so they can design and implement the software at the same time.
Versatile full-stack developer with experience with devops, and some machine learning via api's like Rekog to categorize/tag images. Mainly I'm a full-stack dev though with crud. My current focuses/interests in learning are de-fi/blockchain and rust/golang microservices.
As a full-stack dev I can jump in any side of the stack, but backend is probably the strongest if I had to pick.
Open to product management as well, and automated testing, scraping, etc. As I have a lot of experience pulling in data from multiple sources.
Location: Netherlands
Remote: Yes, preferably including regular face to face meetings
Willing to relocate: No, but happy to regularly come over for a while

I'm a passionate software engineer that loves this craft and focuses on being more of a generalist. Knowing how to learn is a core skill I value and teaching that to the others is something I would be more than happy to do.
Ideally looking for a company / project with a reason to exist and a good roadmap to make sure that plan happens. If your tech stack is not what I am used to; I consider that a plus (as I would love to expand my horizons as well).
Reach out and we can do a virtual coffee meeting. :)

Early career Comp./SW Engineer looking for meaningful and beneficial work alongside interesting people.
Undergrad academic and research experience in high performance computing, wireless sensing, machine learning, biomedical engineering, astronautics.
Some interests include: Biomedical engineering, environmentalism, space exploration & development, scientific computing, ML/AI --
Generally anything that helps the world, the people who live there, and/or our understanding of it!
I'm a competent C and C++ programmer. The C++ spec weighs a lot, so I'm hesitant to call myself an expert, but I have a good working knowledge of the languages. For a previous employer I worked on a commercial Windows IDE. My most recent project has been a WebGL architecture visualization tool for a real-estate company.
I've been working on the foundations of a 3D game engine for ~5 years, which has taught me a great deal about C, systems, and graphics programming on Windows and Linux. I chose to build it without third-party libraries, which began as a learning exercise, and ended up teaching me the value of simplicity.
As for hard technical skills, I've been practicing web development most of my career, so I'm familiar with many of the popular (and some of the less popular) frameworks and paradigms that have come and gone in the last decade. I can configure and maintain webservers, proxies and load balancers. I have a good understanding of the Linux network stack; I've worked on custom TCP & UDP protocols in the past. I have reasonably good linear algebra and some calculus chops from writing a 3D renderer from scratch.
Open to contract work, but would prefer permanent FT. I'm looking to join a company working on hard technical problems. Some topics that interest me include graphics, genetics, compilers, operating systems, compression, robotics and computer vision.
Outside of work I enjoy backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, rock-climbing, hiking and biking! I live in a small town called Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada and would strongly prefer to work remotely. I've been working remotely for many years and I love it!
If you think I could be a good fit for your team and would like to chat I can be contacted by email at jesse.hughes.it@gmail.com
Hi! I'm approaching graduation (this August) from Oregon State University with a BS in Computer Science. I like all kinds of development, but I'm partial to backend/API. I love to learn and am comfortable picking up just about anything I need and would be interested in learning a new stack. I'm looking for an entry-level full-time software engineering role to follow my internship this summer where I'll be working with Java on some aerospace things.
I'm a recent postgraduate with an M.S. in Computer Science seeking full-time, internship, or co-op Backend or mobile iOS Software Developer role to make career switch. Informed by an M.A. in Public Relations & Advertising and 7+ years as a consumer and industry researcher.

About: Serial CTO / Engineering Manager with experience in startups ranging from seed stage to Series C. I'm capable as an individual contributor but would be more interested in a company that's reaching the growth stage and is looking for an experienced manager to help them scale the team/processes. I'm comfortable (and enjoy) wearing multiple different hats and combining my business and tech experience to solve problems.
I am a competent C++ programmer that has tinkered a lot with graphics, GPGPU and both low -and high-level optimization of CPU and GPU code. I recently graduated (cum-laude) from a master computer science at University Utrecht with a thesis focusing on optimization for enabling real-time interactive crowd simulation. My main areas of interest consist of real-time rendering, ray-tracing and optimization of CPU, GPU and Unity code bases.

I've been building web applications for 7 years. Rails was my first framework, so I definitely appreciate a well-organized codebase. I have experience building applications with Section 508 Compliance and Accessibility in mind. I don't have a keen eye for design, but I can style HTML/Components to match a design. Writing automated tests is my jam.
I'd like to be hired to work on open source projects. I've been working on and using open source for about 20 years, principally on the Debian project.

Full-stack developer, have done a little bit of everything from previous shots at startup life but feel very comfortable writing typeful, functional (as in pure functions whenever possible) code. I also have experience in large enterprises in regulated industries, but my preference for where to work at this point is probably a small, distributed team with a strong written culture.
I'm the creator of Uisual (https://uisual.com/). A collection of free plain HTML/CSS landing page templates for startups. Uisual was featured on Speckyboy, Web Designer News, and more.
I'm Indonesian designer and front-end developer. I'm more into design, but I can code my design into usable product. I design delightful interface, website, brand, and packaging. I love working with inspiring people and companies on challenging projects.
Feel free to get in touch.
Note: I don't have React or Vue skills. Also, my spoken English isn't fluent, but good enough for conversation. I'm still practicing my spoken English.
ABOUT: Full-Stack Software Engineer in the biggest investment bank in latin america, BTG Pactual, in the credit team. I am very open to learning new technologies and techniques that are not in my current stack, and I have a great desire for an international job opportunity, that is one of my goals. Troubleshooting, designing, building, documenting and testing networks. Training and supporting networkers and non-networkers.
I'm especially focussed on supporting folks who often get overlooked or steamrolled in tech, because the current situation is often poor for the underrepresented. That might mean women, LGBTQAI+ people, non-cis folk, non-english-speakers, people who aren't speaking the native language of the place they live, and so on. Of course, I'm also very happy to work with all you cis white guys too :-)
I am a technical generalist with 19 years of experience in many areas. Interested not only in programming but system administration; knows his way around shells and CLI tooling very well. Currently interested in Elixir and Rust positions. Been in plenty of different businesses.

Desired position: Senior Developer/Engineering Manager/Software Architect
I have been employed in software development for almost 10 years and have written code for significantly longer. I am a deep specialist in databases and a good generalist in most other areas. I built myself as a T-shaped developer. I have worked databases, back-end, front-end (web and native, mobile and desktop) and testing throughout my time. With databases I have experience with everything from relational algebra theory (I studied C.J. Date) to database design and normalisation to query, procedure and index optimisation. Throughout my career I have developed a systemic view point and an ability to understand how different components of a project and different teams interact together in order to walk the path of technical leadership. As a true engineer I understand the importance of measuring before changing.
Also, I am a sociable person and I have a teaching degree and have teached on numerous occasions with excellent results.
Due to my experience, I am currently aiming for a software architect/engineering manager/team lead role, or a role with growth opportunities toward a similar tech leadership position, a position in which I can grow and polish the skills of colleagues. From a tech stack I am most excited by opportunities to work in Rust and opportunities to work on free open source software. If you are looking to make the world a better place and need an engineer contact me.
My previous major gig was an Engineering Manager/Software Engineer hybrid (and occasional executive) at a 100% remote US startup for 5 years.
I also have a smattering of side projects.
I have wide ranging experience with software and technology.
I'm a self-motivated person and always learning new things.
I'm a creative thinker who is able to take a multi-disciplinary approach to solving problems.
I don't just do 'software', but also the business, legal, social and startup issues around software. (I'm well-read on startup literature.)
I'm a problem solver. Give me a problem and throw me in the deep end. You don't have to keep checking on me. I'll find a way out. I'll either solve the problem or provide you with the necessary information to make an informed decision.
I specialise in debugging hard problems which no one else wants to do.
I keep myself busy. You can see from my work history that, if not employed, I always have a side project happening. But don't let that deter you. I'm always willing to shuffle my priorities for the right opportunity.
I'm a 17 y.o. high school student, did a lot with Flask so I would say I'm proficient with it. Looking for some internship-like job I can do while studying. Willing to learn other Python (FastAPI etc.) or other languages (I liked Kotlin when I learned Android basics) if you like my other work and want to try me.
Thanks for this comment, made me realize people actually look at it, so I finally created my portfolio there. Would love if you could look at it again and provide any feedback

Hi. I'm Craig. I'm an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Systems Architect and Microsoft Certified Professional with a passion for software development.
I work primarily, but not exclusively, with Microsoft technologies and the .NET / .NET Core frameworks, leading complex and challenging enterprise software development projects to successfully deliver robust, secure, scalable and efficient software solutions, encompassing over 20 years of experience in the field.
An accomplished team leader, mentor and architect, I'm skilled at taking a leading role in the overall architecture of a project, in driving team developments and employing proven industry disciplines and best-practices to deliver successful software projects that frequently exceed client expectations.
I'm passionate about distributed systems design, CQRS and event sourcing and a proponent of domain-driven design to ensure that solutions are laser-focused on solving real business problems. I'm an open source enthusiast and advocate using the best and most appropriate tools available, providing for an effective and pragmatic solution that delivers genuine and quantifiable business value.
Throughout my career I've helped numerous businesses of varying sizes in varying industries get their technology investment right and I can do the same for you.
Recent projects include:
+ Successfully delivered large section of an ambitious project to re-engineer a number of monolithic applications to cloud-native, event-driven distributed services for a leading hospitality software provider as part of a company-wide effort to modernise entire software estate including training and mentoring staff on event-driven architecture and distributed system design.
+ Successfully designed & delivered large, global SaaS product to manage and automate music royalty collection and payment for one of the UK's largest and most demanding independent music publishers including full cloud geo-distribution & redundancy to ensure high availability & reliability for the worldwide client base.
+ Successfully lead project to develop industry leading anti-motor fraud web application and API with advanced OLAP & OLTP system and data warehouse including one of Europe's largest anti-fraud databases for a Top 40 UK law firm.
+ Successfully lead project to deliver a market-leading, best-of-breed corporate travel management web & desktop-based product suite for a company who, largely as a result of the technology, were later acquired in a multi-million pound deal.
