I read this story a few years ago and really liked it, but seem to have forgotten the entire plot. Reading it now, it kind of reminds me of the plot of Silo.

No, they just don't have perfect memory.

Not everywhere, just everywhere the sun shines.

It has a rough surface in the way that it makes it uncomfortable to walk on, but not in the way that tires will grip to it. Stones are oddly-shaped, but slippery.

I text the person to ask if I can call them.

I guess that answer is the same as for my reluctance to play the lottery: Opportunity cost. I don't like to spend time on things with ~zero benefit.

Wow, nice catch, I've flagged it.

Men care because women care. I don't think it's that far-fetched that women prefer men with hair, and, as someone who had hair, then didn't, and now does again, I can definitely confirm it.

Women are free with their opinions on men's looks. They want to see height, chest hair, facial hair... but they seem pretty consistent in stating that they don't really care about baldness.

They don't know what men care about either. https://www.basicinstructions.net/basic-instructions/2011/12...

> How many times have you heard women complain about high heels, insinuating that it's men's fault they wear them?

> Many.

> How many times have you rejected a woman because her shoes were too flat?

Damn, I haven't read Basic Instructions in a loooong time. Glad to see it's still going strong!

Well, it reached a stopping point, reran the entire history of the comic, and then started up again once that was finished.

Confidence works well. Confidence with hair works amazing.

The result will vary and the hair will thin eventually. Still, much better than the alternative, I would also very much recommend it.

If you do PRP treatments a few times a year, apparently the transplants hold indefinitely. Or so I have been told by my doctor…

Yeah, they told me that too, but I don't know how much of it is backed by science vs them just wanting to sell more expensive treatments.
