Undoubtedly some people get jobs this way. But even if none have so far, that doesn't mean you won't. As they say in the finance industry, "past performance is no guarantee of future performance." Given how easy it is to post your info, why the reluctance to do so?





I guess that answer is the same as for my reluctance to play the lottery: Opportunity cost. I don't like to spend time on things with ~zero benefit.

Also putting your details out there if already employed may not be a good idea cause of visibility to your current employer
