This is just bananas, it's not hard to wear the mask. We simply aren't at the numbers of vaccinated to be making these calls.

If masks are really saving lives, how come third world countries aren't full of dead people? - They don't wear masks, social distance or have vaccines.

No idea why, but maybe the same reason the flu is not as much of an issue there as it is in developed countries ? Masks are proven to lower transmission rates for covid.

Where are you getting data the the flu is less severe in developing countries? The data I'm finding shows the complete opposite https://championtraveler.com/news/the-us-flu-season-is-bad-t...

Didn't read article, can only assume it's because some of y'all won't wear masks.

What are the main differences between this and storybook?

This is a website detailing various UI components whereas storybook is a development tool where you can manipulate and view components you are building locally (although some people end up hosting a static version of their storybook somewhere).

Jitsi is a great replacement

Sadly, not for all use cases, in particular not for large meetings (>50 people) with video.

And, ironically, it doesn't seem to work in ChromeOS (Chromebooks).

It does.

The administrative tools of my local school district block the official community instance https://meet.jit.si/ on school-issued Chromebooks (as well as probably millions of other sites, at one point they even blocked a subdomain of the school district's own website), but the same service hosted at the other official instance https://8x8.vc/ works wonderfully.

Edit: detail

Budget and date night ideas are our two main used sheets

And if they won't provide, look to bring your own. This is a big part of your day, being comfortable is huge.

I remember a friend who did that, he bought his own monitor and brought it to work.

Pro-bono work is generally done on the clock. Open source work (where I've worked at least) is expected during personal time. That's the major difference from my experience.

In some ways, that mindset comes from a place of privilege. In true poverty-esque situations, you often couldn't get the time off of work to find another job, or even afford the transition between one job and another. It can be a pretty vicious cycle.

> In some ways, that mindset comes from a place of privilege.

Would be hard pressed to do that as I don't come from a place of privilege. Check your assumptions.

It does sound like you're the one making an assumption. Many people in this country feel trapped by what they can do for work.

On top of that being broke and exhausted makes it difficult for people to change what they are doing. If you can't go two weeks without a paycheck, how are you going to switch jobs, etc..

1. Is most certainly true. Everything you type needs to be entered, and your browser probably has undo/repeat, which means a stack of your text is available too, it's still an application at the end of the day

the most important piece of jira for us is the API. How/When do you plan to have an open api that will assist in navigating issues through webhooks? (i didn't see it listed anywhere if you already do)

We are actively working on our API's and Webhooks. We should be getting a v1 out in the next couple of weeks.
