That is very cool. Congrats on a great project - it looks awesome.

Love that story. Will share it with my team!

That's a cool trick. Didn't know you could do that.

Whois or Grep ?

Wish it was longer / more in depth. Seemed like he was rushing through it. Like he has more important things to do...

I think he has something big coming up tomorrow: http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2015/01/spacex-dragon-crs-5-l...

To be fair... he probably does.

I think this is a great article and an awesome website in general. I've always been a big gamer and interested in videogame design but I haven't found many accessible essays for non developers. I'll be following the website and new essays from now on!

If anyone knows other websites or essays like this - that are an in-depth look at videogame design - I would love to know about them.

There's a new post on Designing game narrative:

This is my favorite comment in the thread :)

You could create a twitter for bitcoin. ;)

I had the same problem with Chrome. A confirmation screen would be cool. The newsletter and sample chapter are both great though, definitely worth checking out.

It sadly didn't work at all for me. Getting the following error on Chrome (Version 31.0.1650.63 m): XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://app.convertkit.com/landing_pages/4811371/subscribeFr.... No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://nathanbarry.com' is therefore not allowed access.

This is fantastic. I have used the same system for the last 4 years and it is the single most useful productivity "hack" in my life. The only change I use is that my reference emails usually go into Evernote.

Kudos for such a useful and comprehensive post!

Nice! I like the evernote idea.

What are reference email?

This has always been my issue with these e-mails.

Either way, it will be awkward, and checking in with someone to see if they can be introduced just adds another e-mail to the chain.

Maybe I'm just overly choosy with who I introduce, but I have never had someone not respond, or say "No, I don't want to be introduced to that person." It just always seems to add an unnecessary step.
