More info: After messing around with the image levels, the faded text shows as "Eternal Vigilance is the price of Liberty" (a quote which has been incorrectly attributed to numerous famous figures: https://www.monticello.org/site/jefferson/eternal-vigilance-...)
The man in the foreground appears to be George Washington. There's some barely visible text in the space above the cannon ("Pri"; "Lib") but I can't make out the rest (I'd guess something about liberty).
Yeah, I know - it uses ipify.org and my guess is some sites might use it for tracking, which is a shame. Note that no ads or tracking are used for the site, and I added a page showing uBlock users how to only allow calls to ipify from this domain.
While Google and https://api.ipify.org/ are cool and fast and memorable, this started as a side project to make it easy to copy and display in the tab title as well (plus I found a cheap domain). Thanks for clicking!
Yep, UC Health as in the medical care provider associated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Press release regarding the breach here:
Side note - I'm a patient of UC Health and hadn't seen this news until now, but I'm also not within the scope of this breach. They've been great medically, but I agree with the post that some follow-up information would be much better.
- S3 costs: $0.10/month
- Route53: $0.50/month ($0.50 per hosted zone)
S3 costs could be lower - I have other buckets with stuff that count towards my cost.
