Is the special case of 1/T = 0 also known as the Big Bang?

It only runs when launched in a dockerized container from the terminal....you are welcome!

He was nudged off his mortal coil too soon.

His life is filled with tragedy, like his father dying in Vichy France and his wife preceding his death. Imagine living forever where everyone you know and love dying before you.

As a successful VC, this is the core of my investment thesis.

At last, techbro ageism explained.

VCs: "Ooo... Little baby founder so cute, I just want to fund you right up... Oh yes, I do! Yes, I do!"

New Techbro: "I'm the special little baby."

Same Techbro a Few Years Later: "Why are the special little babies in charge?"

Newer Techbro: "OK, boomer."

Interesting. Just for context Autonomy (now part of HP) built this cool app called Kenjin back in the 90s it used Bayesian inference applied to your browsing session to suggest content.

That's awesome! We haven't explored content discovery too much right now, since we're more focused on re-discovery of content you've already saved.

As a statistician by training, I appreciate how the traditional inference techniques were helpful way before LLMs became mainstream for these tasks :)

I worked for a research firm that did research for Nokia Design, large scale immersion sessions in exotic locations. One project the deliverable was a set of cards 11" x 8" in a custom box. Each card depicted an insight from the research. I think Nokia Design were charged 25k for the production of these cards. For me this was peak-insanity and two years later Nokia imploded.

Precisely this. Many people have taken it as a sign of further lawlessness in SF. When actual fact it is young impulsive people acting on impulse with fireworks within easy reach.

I wish I could’ve used that as an excuse for actions when I was “young and impulsive”.

A crime was committed and we shouldn’t be trying to justify it.

Because the individuals responsible are young and impulsive, this is not lawlessness.

Or it could be saying this is normal expected lawlessness rather than further lawlessness.

Which would still be not good, but less of a sign of things getting worse.

Exactly

I tend to find this holds true 100% of the time.

private Boolean doorway_effect(Boolean tall_person, Boolean carrying_heavy_item, Boolean carrying_hot_drink, Boolean doorway_low)

Boolean bang_head = false;

if(tall_person && (carrying_heavy_item || carrying_hot_drink) && doorway_low) {

     bang_head = true;
}

return bang_head;

}

Ryanair sells spare bolts to passengers after check-in. Its a new service.

If you're near one of the plugged doors, they'll offer a premium bolt-tightening service as an upgrade, but you have to supply the torque wrench...
