An interesting situation would be if one person got the device knowing their room mate was privacy conscious.

The other person has now lost their reasonable expectation of privacy in their own home and might not even know it.

You do not have privacy from your roommate. They could easily set up a bug just like they could set up Echo.

How would they not know it? The device interaction is through voice/sound.
