That sounds fine in principle, but please don't tell me the future is jffs2!



I think the proposal is something like ZFS/Btrfs but with even more complexity to handle wear leveling and such.


Is this going to have a net benefit? To my mind it makes more sense for specialized functionality to be built into the drives firmware rather than letting the CPU deal with it.
