I find this hijacking of a creative artist and educator's pseudonym for a marketing blog to be intensely distasteful.

Or a clever parody. He says his name is john. It's using a privacy whois and it's using reverse.softlayer.com, which he used to use, if I remember correctly. The real why also started his own software company.
