Wait, why Microsoft? I'd say they're the last company to do this. It sounds more like a Valve action to do this kind of awesomeness.

Ideally it would be great if a bunch of different companies did it. I personally wouldn't want everything from 1993, but an exquisitely curated set

be worth paying for.
