Yeah, I just switched from a 2007 system running I built with a nVidia card running Debian lenny to a Ivy Bridge system with a CPU that has their "HD Graphics" running Debian wheezy, the integrated successor to GMA. I only have 2D graphics requirements and it's quite nice, the motherboard has integrated sound and video HDMI output.
(The board is SuperMicro's X9SAE, the first of a new line of workstation boards they're doing, they have a Haswell X10SAE, but it's a little early to try to make one of those work.)
