I would assume so - it's a 3.7gz quad core and a 3.5ghz hex core

To me, that makes the entry level a pretty good value for a developer workstation that will occasionally dabble in video editing and graphics.

The only other option for a headless Mac is a mini, and even a fully decked out one isn't as fast and starts getting expensive.
