Not a lack of perspective at all, more of an attempt at deflection because Google are being dicks. Skype's protocols predate Microsofts takeover, so attempting to 'blame' them is churlish, and there already has been a furore over Apple and FaceTime. The browser thing has absolutely sweet FA to do with this.
