Marvel Comics up 35c in afternoon trading.

I'd like to see another source, but if true, this is a huge discovery.

Interesting how there are only 5 places on Google that mention "Kolsky Research Institute" at all. And all of them reference this exact story: http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&safe=off&clien...

Smells fishy

It probably doesn't have an official name for itself in English. "Kolsky" means "of Kola" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Peninsula), and there are several ways of transliterating it into English. "Research Institute", too, could be one of several things, and each could have a different English translation. It would take a while to try all possible combinations in Google and see if something comes up, but that nothing comes up for "Kolsky Research Institute" means nothing.

So does anyone know enough Russian to try to see if there is a paper published in Russian?

I'm hoping it's real. And being real, I hope it can be cheaply obtained and stays that way.

Maybe soon we'll be able to use nuclear power as much as we want. Once we start recycling leftover radioactive wastes, fission becomes sustainable enough.

Plan for taking over the Earth:

1)Invent a way to eliminate nuclear fallout

2)Retreat into a space station

3)Incite nuclear war below

4)Wait for apocalypse

5)Come back down, clean the place up, and take it for yourself

The Russians are avenging the Soviets' failure to spread communism throughout the entire world.

You forgot the profit step.

6) Find an alien civilization desiring another planet.

7) ???

8) Use step 7 to get the aliens to buy the planet instead of taking it.

9) Profit!
