That being said, you still get a lot of stats with any analytics platform, just that they're skewed.
If you use GA4, you will track more non-savy users (not those who have ad-blockers, or use Brave or Firefox). With popular platforms, you will also get more spam/bot traffic.
I think the best solution nowadays is to self-host your website analytics, use your own domain, and keep your data to yourself. More accurate stats, and easier to respect privacy laws.
