The influence of rich capital owners on what we are allowed to read in the media landscape couldn't be clearer.
Although, this tradition of news papers endorsing this or that candidate is perhaps in itself not ideal, as it is cementing the legitimacy of bias. OK so bias is unavoidable, but it gets worse without any possibility to appeal to a supposed editorial neutrality.

When you unsubscribe from the LA Times, it asks you a reason via a dropdown. "Inappropriate owner involvement in editorial decisions" isn't an option and there isn't a fill-in-the-blank "Other". I suspect this isn't coincidental.
