3% of carbon emissions. Not 3% of greenhouse gases.

Carbon emissions all up account for ~80%.

Either way though, rising heat doesn’t bode well.


I guess I'm weird, but I spend a lot of time engineering my life and my house around not needing A/C for this and costs reason. I don't turn the A/C on unless it's pretty critical, or someone in the house has a fever or something like that.

Putting up shutters, painting walls with lighter colors (nearly white), insulation and on and on...it makes a huge difference, but not perfect.

I just personally can't justify making climate change worse to feel cooler in my tiny little bubble of the world. I also like to get acclimatized to the heat, I find if I use A/C, it kind of deters me from going outside. Where as when I don't use A/C, I enjoy going outside of an evening to feel the cooler air, which seems to be healthier.

People in my family just stay inside the whole summer because "it's hot outside", no shit.
