Sounds like the people can be upset with their government if they wanted that feature. I don’t see how that’s Apple’s problem, other than needing to restrict it based on location.
If they want to take shots (which I doubt they would do… too risky), it could come up with a message that says the feature has been blocked by the Chinese government, so it’s clear to the user what is happening and why.
