Mozilla restores access to extensions to bypass blocking in Russia (stackdiary.com)

I hope this gets as much (more?) attention and comments compared to the many pages recently written slating Mozilla.

It's true that the initial decision was cowardly. It's true that Mozilla doesn't have its priorities straight with regard to a purported egalitarian and democratic mission, and that it's way too comfy in bed with Google, publishers DRM and advertising.

But this took courage, It's the right thing to do.

Let's hold it up in comparison to what Apple, Google and Facebook do to appease vicious regimes in the name of their bottom line.
