Of the 44 submissions from lijunhao, 9 are text posts like this, 11 are from x-cmd, and the rest are from other domains. Of the 6 contributors on github to x-cmd.com, none of them are named lijunhao (though obviously that's not a definite signal).

11/44 is 25%. Is there a recommended percentage to avoid flagging for same-domain submissions?

I think it would be more reasonable to judge whether it is promotion according to its content, quality, purpose, instead of domain name.

I totally agree one should get flagged if one posts the same product or application for the same use case again and again. But in my situation, they are different tools for different use cases.

I don't think this demo would get flagged if it was uploaded and presented in the https://asciinema.org or https://github.com .

I don't go against hackernews flagging system. It brings ORDER.

I dunno, I just clicked the "submissions" button and called it as I saw it.

Nobody can know for sure why someone flagged something, but you can get a pretty good idea checking recent post history in my experience.
