Hybrids are fine, for now, it's the pure ICE (and the so-called mild hybrids, which are basically just ICE) that we should be Hell No'ing.

Regen braking alone might be a big enough reduction in local pollution to care.

China has some interesting range extended hybrids as well as their EVs, with battery investments and improvemnts working together to make them better.

Don't agree with some of the point made, but thought it would be interesting to analyze them, as to whether PHEVs as indeed pretty useless or not.

Missed probably the biggest factor: Large battery was much more expensive than ICE drivetrain. This might ger the other way around in only few years.
