He fired them because they were expensive and provide only long term benefits, and he wants desperately to shore up Tesla’s finances right this second to secure his $50b payday.
Musk has always been a "hit and run" manager - he would give a task to a team, pull a deadline out of his ass, and go do something else.
Be very afraid, however, if he starts taking active interest in the business. You can give him credit for eccentric bold ideas and risk taking, but he is a horrible, incompetent micromanager.
I wonder if he laid on his back and kicked his heels on the ground like a two year old having a tantrum. Interesting look for the richest man in the world. This might be more a sign of failed late stage capitalism than anything else.
Reading the article, the picture is appropriate, musk is a petulant micromanager who is allergic to people with differing opinions and demands dumb unquestioning loyalty. He apparently wants goons not experts.
the firing of the charging team really shows the board has let musk wreck havoc for far too long. Business wise the move was absurdly bad. Musk is going to run tesla into the ground over petty grievances and his increasing nonsensical reasoning
Of course reading the article, the picture will look appropriate. that's my point, I don't even need to read it to know it's gonna be just a hit piece on Musk. It's as if the headline was "I HATE ELON MUSK AND THINK HE'S A PIECE OF SHIT". At that point, reading the article is just circle jerking because there's nothing more to say.
Not as bad as the ones where they use a photo of someone speaking mid sentence so their face looks oddly contorted. It’s getting really common for people the media don’t like.
It's better to ask why this way and not the other first. I can imagine they choose that locations on purpose. So, to know why may make it understandable. In my opinion.
He probably even offered her a horse.
