Gould made Commodore his own personal piggy bank, but under Tramiel I have a hard time seeing Commodore ever purchasing Amiga in the first place. Tramiel's double-dealing and brazen nepotism didn't do Commodore (or Atari) any favors either.



That is an excellent point. Warner's Atari would have undoubtedly ended up with the Amiga but would Warner's Atari have survived long enough to bring out an Amiga console or computer? It was hemorrhaging money. Once it died, who is mostly likely to have bought up their IP? Commodore? Someone else?
