From what I read, this is mostly lower level people ignoring regulations but managers immediately reported to execs who reported to FAA.

I guess there are a lot of issues with that factory?


Of course, it's those decptive workers! The c-suite was busy shopping for their 2nd private island in Bermuda, and all those hateful poor people stopped making planes right 8-/

The article doesn't state the exact number of tests skipped or falsified, but the headline is misleading. It isn't 787 tests, it is tests on 787 model aircraft.


I think it's perfectly fine to assume some amount background knowledge. I mean which person who has heard about the recent boeing issues would assume that 787 refers to the amount of tests and not the model number of the aircraft?
