Calvin and Hobbes Has Aged Poorly (cbr.com)

I get the impression that the author of this article has never spent serious time around children and see them as something that needs to be constantly coddled else they bruise.

Also since when does "written in a different time" means "aged poorly?" Did Pride and Prejudice age poorly because Elizabeth doesn't follow Mr. Darcy on Social Media only to criticize his posts?

HN crosses many bubbles; today it also gave me https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40023460

Umm....

Nope, I've been using it a secret weapon to get my kids to read and give them a good vocabulary and all these "concerns" seem imaginary.

Also try "Hobbes and Bacon", the fancomic about Calvin and Susie's daughter. https://www.google.com/search?q=hobbes+and+bacon+comic
