So much easier to go now that CRTs are gone.

Never liked huge LAN parties.

The best is when you are 20-30 people, everyone knows someone of the others but almost nobody knows everyone (yet).

2-3 nights over a weekend at a third location.

That's gold to me.

Sure, I didn't mean to imply that the bigger the better, but only that "it's still a big thing".

It would be less impressive to say "LAN parties still exist. Two friends came over yesterday and we nerded out".
