Wouldn't that be a trademark violation?



Trademarks are specific to classes of goods. A trademark for toys named Optimus Prime doesn't prevent you from making software called Optimus Prime.


While true, for something as famous as Optimus Prime, there could conceivably by liability for dilution by blurring.
