I tend to be much more productive on days when I work from home, but after a 1.5 year stretch with an out of state company I found it harder to stay focused at home.
I've found lately that occasionally varying my work location – maybe 3 days in the office, 2 at home or at a quiet cafe – is refreshing and helps me avoid the slump.
