I was commenting on their decision not to include the pins, not on the need to solder them. Almost every single dev board or sensor module you purchase today comes with pins that you're expected to solder yourself.

I'm just surprised that for $80 they couldn't be hosed to include them in the box. If anything it's an admission that they know this will end up in most people's drawers.




Without the header pins, it takes up less room in the drawer.


Valid point. You can store twice as many boards in the same space.
