The entire selling point of insomnia for me was that they let me bypass the annoying bullshit that infected Postman. Not sure what they have to compete on outside that niche, tbh.
On to the next one, I suppose. I'm not sure why these glorified curl wrappers think I'm going to have enough loyalty to tolerate friction. How are you going to lock me in when the what your app does is just make HTTP requests?(Yes, I'm aware they add a ton of convenience over something like curl, I'm being hyperbolic, but still!)
While I didn't lose my data, it was an annoying roadblock. Still, not a bad trade off for me at this point. If they keep tightening the screws I may seek out an alternative.
