Show HN: I made a tool for interstitial journaling called Interstitch (interstitch.app)

Hi HN,

I wanted to share my app Interstitch which I made for interstitial journaling.

Interstitial journaling is taking notes on what you're working on while you do it. It can help with focus and clarity of thought, and makes it easier to pick up projects where you left off. It's often combined with the Pomdoro technique where you work on something for some set time (25 minutes - 1 hour) then take a break. I do Pomodoro sessions and each session is associted with an Interstitch session.

I'm currently working on a few different projects and was taking notes in a Notion doc and realized it would be nice to make a tool, that also collects time duration so I could see how long I was spending on each project.

I realized about half way through I was basically building a time-tracking tool, which is most often used for freelancers invoicing but in my case is more about personal productivity.

Completely free. Maybe add premium features at a future date but only if there's enough interest.

Hope someone out there finds this useful! Let me know if any bugs or issues, contact info is in my profile.

So this is like chain of thought for humans?

Maybe? Not super up to date on that to be honest, split between too many projects already :)
