The two products announced are mostly catered for professional photographers at the Olympics. The camera body and the lens are both very expensive, over $10,000 for the two combined.
That said, the global shutter is interesting, and will hopefully find its way into consumer grade products in coming years. Personally I'm excited about this "obsoleting" existing used cameras so that I can finally afford them.
