I never really thought about the fact it was Somalia's TLD, or that it was (seemingly) a random choice because it happened to be available.

I always thought it was a play on shared objects (.so files).



every two letter tld is from some country


I think Notion was wild to make that choice, and has yet to reap the full consequences of it.
