I'm pretty ignorant of state of the art robotics and had assumed for years that approaches like this were used, e.g. by Boston Dynamics. Surprising to see that it's a new thing.

Has Boston Dynamics ever done anything other than produce a viral video approximately every 5 years? Mr Beast produces a viral video twice a month.

Have you not observed the content of those viral videos? Who else is doing robotics at that level? Extremely complex, natural bio-mimicking movements I've not seen anywhere else.

What has a Boston Dynamics robot ever done, other than star in a Boston Dynamics video?

Thanks for making my point -- in the "real world" they produce mundane robotic arms for warehouse work.

You ignored the quadruped.
