Hi, my name is Alex and I have 10 years of experience as a software engineer, including 5 years at Fortune 500 companies, 1 year of which I was a tech lead. For the last 4 years, I have had experience building mission critical software with Python and working on projects with ML/AI (NLP) and Big Data. I just finished a contract with Apple which I cannot discuss at length because I signed an NDA as all Apple employees are required to but was working on very large data projects. I have taken a month off without applying to new roles, since I did not take much vacation during my contract. I'm beginning to job search now and I'm mostly looking for roles with a laid back team working on interesting Python projects. I love working with AI/ML and Computer Vision and I am currently participating in a Kaggle competition to hone my skills.
