Removing that one will turn on the InfluxDB analytics.

InfluxDB refers to the hosted service, not the DB technology. The fact that it’s also probably InfluxDB-the-technology is incidental.

I'd recommend not reading into others' editorializations. Homebrew doesn't control them.

- I like knowing the tech stack used.

- And on InfluxDB: It's well documented, & it was easy to get a PoC running.
