Careful to read it as "settling that" -- no one should feel like they're "settling", for something other than what they want. :)

(This can involve changing your mind about what you want, though.)




I understand the sentiment, but I think plenty of people do in fact need to "settle", because they have unrealistic expectations and are very unlikely to get what they want.


Will a relationship more likely be successful, if they're not still thinking of it as "settling" by the time that they commit?
