Usually, this shows I needed the extra hours to fully understand the problem. Or that I needed to waste those hours to make myself realize when I can and cannot productively work extra hours. Sometimes, I'm sure surfing TikTok for those three hours would not have made me sit down and produce quality code on the first try. Other times, I do the surfing and am like, "I needed that."
