Could you not find a million other ways to provide this feedback less abrasively? People like you unnecessarily exacerbate the stress of launching a new endeavor.



I'm sorry was I not asked to give feedback on a launch post? Did you not see this line:

There's a difference between giving feedback and giving feedback with tact, no need to be so harsh even if you are right.

Please don't bring in personal details (even public ones) from elsewhere as ammunition in an argument. I understand the impulse and I'm not saying the information is irrelevant. It's just not worth the cost/benefit of what it does to the threads. It only makes them meaner and more personal. Better to resist the temptation.

Criticism phrasing is important. Just because someone asks for feedback doesn't mean they're OK with an abrasive tone. Bugs happen -- I'm sure they didn't intend for the experience to be that way
