| | I have a twitch chat bot which has a subscription model and has some niche services for a specific game. It uses some aws services and is tied to a twitch account. I want turn it into a co-op. So instead of subscriptions it would run on voluntary donations to pay for aws services. The bot is well known among the players of a certain game. The community is fairly small and not tech savvy. Has anyone done something like this? Few questions,
1. How to setup payments so that donations go towards aws costs?
2. How to communicate this to existing paying patrons? I’m worried they might object to this.
3. Is there a better model to turn this into a co-op? I don’t want to make it open-source and none of the users are savvy enough to setup their own aws services. |
