Newly discovered salty ice could exist on surface of extraterrestrial moons (phys.org)

High pressure novel ice structure was also the subject of a BBC Science in Action [1] earlier this month and I can only assume this is the same thing but from what I gathered the high pressure friction was more important to the formula than the salt but very interesting podcast session and from the best regular science show they have.

Turns out this is a completely different novel ice structure also discovered this month and expected to exist on other moons in our solar system. Who would have suspected extraterrestrial cold water to be such a fertile area of science.

All moons are extraterrestrial.

terrestrial, adjective: on or relating to the earth. (emphasis mine)

Extraterrestrial, adjective: Originating, located, or occurring outside Earth or its atmosphere. (Emphasis mine.)

A neat feature for HN would be a built in dictionary tool that would allow users to select their intended meaning for ambiguous words.

Especially since the demographic is prone to being literal.

These moons are terrestrial.
