It's paid though. Results are comparable to Google (minus ads) which for me made it pretty seamless to adapt to (vs say ddg).

Seconded, I love that it’s configurable (e.g., deprioritize sites you don’t like). It’s well worth the price.


Qwant https://www.qwant.com/ Ecosia https://www.ecosia.org/ Searx https://searx.be/ and StartPage https://www.startpage.com/ all provide better privacy. Recommend `uBlock Origin' as an excellent content blocker.
