Knives are much more useful than a $$ piece of future e waste that helps you find your lost keys once in a blue moon



As someone who loses his keys a lot, air tags are a lifesaver.

Also they're actually designed to last a long time being simple devices, with water proofing and battery replacability. I foresee using them until they break at this rate, which will probably be many, many years.

Knifes break, rust, dent and lose their sharpness. Many are about the equivalent of ewaste, much like furniture itself.


There are no electronics in knives so I don't see how they could be e waste

I'm still using knives my grandparents used, still as sharp as ever and not rusty at all

As for losing your keys there are many systems that rely on the brain or other low tech mechanism to avoid losing them
