Why would it be arrogant? If I'm using something that my business depends on, such as a library like React, you're damn right I want to know how it'll affect me. Now I can be concerned about the people who make the tool, but I can also be concerned about the tool itself.

React is open source, and if your business depends upon it, it uses the open source version.
