So why does a millionaire in Turkey get it for $4 while a homeless American single mother has to pay $20? How is that “fair”? It’s just racism.

Most countries, including Turkey, don't actually define race or care about it really. The U.S. and a few other countries are the exception.

In fact even the UN doesn't really put much stock in it, since the concept is too muddled for it to be useful across 190+ countries.

Ethnicity, the kind provable by family ancestry or genetics, is the usual replacement.
